Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Assistant / Truck Driver to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing deliveries and supporting warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Receiving and Inspecting Goods: Accepting deliveries, verifying shipment contents, confirming accuracy of order,  and inspecting for damages or discrepancies.
2. Inventory Management: Keeping accurate records of stock levels, conducting regular inventory checks, and organizing storage areas efficiently.
3. Order Fulfillment: Picking, packing, and labeling items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Operating Equipment: Using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other machinery to move goods safely within the warehouse.
5. Maintaining Safety Standards: Adhering to safety protocols, keeping the workspace clean, and ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials if applicable.
6. Documentation: Managing shipping and receiving paperwork, updating inventory
7. Stage Deliveries for shipment and organize the warehouse
8. Loading and Unloading: Ensuring items are securely loaded onto the vehicle and unloading them at the destination.
9. Route Planning: Using navigation tools to determine the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
10. Delivering Goods: Transporting material to jobsite or customers while adhering to schedules.
11. Vehicle Maintenance: Performing basic checks, such as refueling and inspecting the vehicle for issues.
12. Customer Interaction: Providing excellent service, answering questions, and handling complaints professionally.
13. Documentation: Completing delivery records and obtaining signatures
14. Safety Compliance: Following traffic laws and maintaining a clean driving record.

Requirements:

• A valid New York State driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Pre-Employment Drug Testing and Random Testing.
• Forklift certification.
• OSHA certification.
• Ability to lift 50- 75 lbs.
