Concrete Foreman

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Concrete Foreman, you will coordinate crews, manage resources, and collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to deliver exceptional results. Your expertise in construction management and concrete techniques will drive project success and uphold safety protocols across the job site.

Duties

• Lead and supervise concrete crews to execute construction tasks efficiently and safely, ensuring adherence to project specifications and schematics
• Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines
• Oversee the proper use of tools and equipment, including heavy machinery like mixers, pumps, and the ohmmeter for quality testing
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately to guide on-site activities
• Implement quality control measures to ensure concrete work meets industry standards and client expectations
• Manage safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations and construction site safety standards
• Collaborate with project managers on project scheduling using Primavera P6 or Construction management software to optimize workflow and resource allocation
• Monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating using Contractor Foreman or similar software
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work aligns with plans, schematics, and safety requirements
• Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities, incident reports, and quality control records

Requirements

• 5-10 years of proficient concrete experience either in a leadership position or finishing position.
• Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
• Familiarity with construction estimating software like Contractor Foreman for budgeting purposes
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety
• Skilled in using technical tools including ohmmeters for quality testing of electrical components within concrete structures
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and team members
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics related to pipelines or other infrastructure components
• Demonstrated experience in project scheduling, management of budgets, and supervising field crews on large-scale projects
