Empire Building Diagnostics, Inc. (EBD) is a 35-year-old construction company headquartered in Buffalo, New York. • $22.00–$30.00/hour, based on experience

• Sign-on bonus for qualified candidates

• 40 hours/week, year-round work. This is NOT seasonal. You work when others don’t.

As a Concrete Cutting Specialist, you will work with some of the newest, most technologically advanced equipment in the industry. Every truck is fully stocked and ready to go. This is skilled, hands-on work that demands precision and pride in the craft.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Operating hydraulic, gas-powered, and electric saws

• Slab sawing, wall sawing, core drilling, and related cutting and removal work

• Floor preparation, surface preparation, and concrete grinding

• Working with high-end hand and power tools

• Handling building materials and supplies safely and efficiently

• Representing EBD professionally on job sites as a dependable team player

We are hiring immediately and willing to train the right candidates. Your safety-first attitude, reliability, and work ethic matter as much as your resume. Strong mechanical aptitude is a valid substitute for direct experience.

Relevant experience includes — but is not limited to:

• Concrete cutting or finishing

• Selective demolition

• Masonry

• Utilities or trenching

• Any skilled labor in the construction or infrastructure industry

• Heavy equipment operation

• Diesel mechanics or machine operation

• Manufacturing or industrial environments requiring strong mechanical aptitude

Requirements:

• OSHA 10 (required before starting — we will provide it if needed)

• Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical

• Ability to work on ladders and lifts

• Ability to lift 50–70 lbs. minimum

• Punctual, dependable, strong work ethic
